If you have a bulk order to place, we are always happy to consider offering a discount price on a case by case basis.

In order to qualify for a discount please email a list of your required items to Party-world@btconnect.com for our consideration.

Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Simply browse our catalogue here online, clicking on any items for further information and to add to the shopping cart.

After you have finished your selections, continue to the checkout.

At checkout you will be asked for a few details that we need in order to process the order.

Methods of Payment

We accept payment by debit or credit card. We are sorry, but we cannot accept cheques or cash.

We accept payment via the telephone for credit or debit cards.

Please note that no order will be dispatched for shipping until it is paid for in full.

Cards we accept are: Visa, MasterCard, Maestro (Switch), Solo, Visa Debit (Delta), Visa Electron.

Stock Availability

Unlike many competitors, we pride ourselves in maintaining high stocking levels for all products, on the rare occasion that an item should be out of stock this should only be for a few days unless stated otherwise.

Should an item be out of stock, we would contact you via phone or e-mail.

Meeting Your Required Date

We do invite you to place a "Party Date" date at checkout and we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate this requirement. However, we advise that we will not be bound by this date. Should an order be shipped and arrive after your Required By date with no previous notification of Cancellation, our Returns Policy will apply.

Box

We aim to keep our Postage and Packing charges as low and as simple as we can. This should mean that we are competitive and that you will always know in advance what the delivery charge is on your order.

All orders delivered to a mainland UK address are charged £4.99 post and packaging. There is an option for you to upgrade your order to UK Special Delivery at a total cost of £8.99 per order.

UK Standard Delivery: £4.99 per order

For this option we use the Royal Mail Parcel delivery. There is no tracking facility available and delivery will normally be 2-3 working days after confirmed receipt of your order but can take up to 7 working days.

UK Express Delivery: £ 8.99 per order

For this service we use either the Royal Mail Special Delivery or a courier company. Both of these methods require a signature on delivery and you should ensure that someone will be available at the address to receive the goods. Delivery will usually be 2 – 4 working days after confirmed receipt of your order. You will be emailed a tracking number for this service as soon as your goods are packed ready for dispatch. You should expect delivery the next working day after receipt of the tracking number. Delivery can be any time of the day up to 5.30 pm.

Next Day UK Special Delivery: £ 11.99 per order (add £4.00 for Saturday Delivery)

Available by calling 01276 38795 and placing your order with one of our sales staff before 1pm.

This option is for when your goods have to be with you the next day no matter what!

Our sales staff will confirm whilst you are on the phone that your goods are in stock and will take your details and payment over the telephone.

For this service we use either the Royal Mail Special Delivery or a courier company. Pick Up From Our Shop at 406 Yorktown Road College Town Sandhurst Berkshire GU47 0PR

Our shop is located in Sandhurst Berkshire by the back gate of the RMA. By selecting the pick up option, your order will be processed and ready for collection from our shop. Your order will be ready for collection after you have received an email from us headed order collection notification, normally within 24 hours of receipt of your order. Please note that all pickups must be paid for via our website. Please check your email to confirm goods are available for pickup.

BFPO Deliveries:

Please select a UK delivery option, either standard or Special Delivery option. Please ensure you quote the BFPO post code (with the text ‘BFPO’ within the post code).

European Deliveries: £ 13.99 per order

For this service we use the Royal Mail Airmail delivery. Our orders average less than 1 Kilo and this delivery charge is based on that average weight. If your order is greater than 1 Kilo we reserve the right to charge you the excess shipping cost which must be paid before we will send your order. You can of course cancel your order if that proves to be too expensive.

Delivery will usually be 5 to 7 working days after confirmed receipt of your order. There is no tracking facility available with this service.

Rest of the World Deliveries: £16.99 per order

For this service we use the Royal Mail Airmail Delivery. Our orders average less than 1 Kilo (2lb 3oz) and this delivery charge is based on that average weight. If your order is greater than 1 Kilo (2lb 3oz) we reserve the right to charge you the excess shipping cost which must be paid before we will ship your order. You can of course cancel your order if that proves to be too expensive.

Delivery will usually be 10 to 12 working days after confirmed receipt of your order. There is no tracking facility available with this service.

Telephone Orders

If you need assistance please phone 01276 38795, If we are busy please leave a message on our answer phone and we will call you straight back as soon as we are free so that we can assist you in your choices. This service is available during shop hours Monday to Saturday 10:00am to 5:30pm. Please note the shop is closed on all UK Public Holidays.

Our delivery methods allow full trace of your shipment from dispatch until delivered and signed for by you. Whatever method we use will always require a signature on arrival. Our charges to you cover all postage packing and insurance up to the value of the goods you are buying.

Cancellation of Order

Your rights to cancel

You have the right to cancel an order but we will not refund the packing and postage charges if the goods have already been processed for shipping. Please refer to our Returns policy below.

Because of the nature of our operation and the volume of emails we receive, we recommend that instructions for cancellation are made by email or telephone on 01276 38795 as early in the day as possible if we are not here to answer your call or are to busy during shop opening hours please leave a message on our answer phone. If you are unable to call us we may not be able to read your email before your order has been processed.

All instructions to cancel must be clear and quote the acknowledgement number on the email you have received at the time you placed your order.

Order Cancellation: Post-Shipment

You may cancel your order up to 7 working days from receipt of your purchase. You will be invited to return the goods in an unopened and unused state for refund. Please see our Returns Policy for more information.

You are responsible for the safe return of the goods and all costs associated with returning your order. In the event of a refused delivery by any of our delivery carriers you will be responsible for the costs of returning the items as charged to us by our carrier which is £15.

These costs are also applied where our carrier has attempted delivery and contacted you to make arrangement for redelivery and redelivery was not possible causing the goods to be returned to us.

£15 is applied for all returned, refused or attempted delivery courier packages.

Returns Policy

All goods purchased from Party-World.co.uk may be returned for refund, exchange or replacement within 7 working days from receipt of delivery [*].

You may return any purchase made over the web to us subject to the following:

Items must be returned within 7 days of purchase

Items must be unused and in a saleable condition

Items such as makeup, teeth, Novelty Items or underwear must be returned unopened and unused and the tamper seals are in place where tamper seals are provided

Before returning anything you must contact us and we will give you a Goods Returns Number. This number must be included with the returned items otherwise we will be unable to process them.

Include the delivery note or a copy of your email invoice with the goods Send the goods in appropriate packaging, as failure to do so may result in delay of any refund

We do not refund shipping costs: it is your responsibility to return items to us; we recommend recorded delivery or Royal Mail special delivery Party World cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to goods whilst they are being returned.

FREE SHIPPING orders will upon returning goods have the shipping rate deducted when refunding back on to cards.

Refunds will be made to the card that was used in the original purchase or a cheque made payable to the cardholder if the card is no longer valid. You must follow our instructions for returning goods (see below).

May we please ask you to additionally note:

You must take care of our goods whilst they are in your possession and any item for return must be received back in its original shipped condition and original packing with picture card. The item must be without damage or use and in a suitable condition for resale. All original packaging including picture/header cards should accompany any returned item undamaged. We cannot accept returns for exchange or refund if such items have been opened from a sealed package (Costumes do not typically come in sealed packages and you can try them on). All items will be inspected on their return to us.

We are not a manufacturer, so the whole product and packaging must be returned as the same condition as you would have received it and how you may expect to receive it. If the product or packaging with picture card is in any way missing, damaged/split or the costumes smell that they have been worn over a period of time, we cannot refund.

That you or your carriers are responsible for any returned goods until they reach our warehouse. Cost and Risk of return will be at your expense and we strongly recommend that you receive proof of posting or use Royal Mail's "Recorded Signed" or "Special Delivery" service.

We regret outbound shipping, packing and insurance cannot be refunded.

We try to make refunds within one week of receipt back to us though promise to make all refunds within 30 calendar days from receipt of goods to our warehouse. Please note that we will not be held liable for any interest payment that you may incur because any refund was made outside of your credit/debit card timescales.

Please return the goods to the address on the top of your receipt/invoice including the Invoice Number. Any returned items not including such information may well be delayed.

Any returned goods that we receive which are outside of this Returns Policy would be defined as 'In Dispute'. Such ‘In Dispute' items will not be refunded or exchanged. A reason for this decision will be provided. We are happy to re-ship such ‘In Dispute' items back to you at your cost; otherwise they will be destroyed within 91 calendar days from their receipt back to us.

We are sorry but due to false promises in the past, we are unable to replace or exchange an item until the original is returned to Party-world.co.uk. If you need an item in a hurry, we suggest you place a second order for the new item and send the original back at a later date.

Sometimes and especially if goods are purchased in advance for a present or delivered while on holiday, aforementioned 7 day response timescales can be missed. Therefore, without prejudice and as a gesture of goodwill, we are happy to consider the following remedy on a case-by-case basis

Should an item not be required and is returned and received by us between 7 working days and 30 calendar days, we will be happy to accept the item(s) back with refund of goods to the value of 70% of the purchase price (excluding shipping) if taken as a gift certificate redeemable in future for use at Party-World.co.uk or in store at Party World Sandhurst.

Should an item be returned and received after 30 calendar days, we will have no obligation to refund. If you wish the item resent to you, we will ask for a nominal fee to cover additional shipping costs.

* "7 working days from receipt of delivery" shall be defined as the date from when your shipment is received by you, being the date of signature that the package is received by you.

Returns Policy - Faulty Goods

Should a product be faulty, you should let us know immediately as we will happily refund or exchange it for you. You should let us know as soon as possible via email (or telephone first) within 7 calendar days from the date of delivery.

You will need to include the Invoice/Order Number, your name and postcode with your parcel back to us as failure to do so will result in delay of any refund. May we please ask you to additionally note:

We shall be under no liability in respect of any defect arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, abnormal working conditions, misuse or alteration or repair of the ordered goods without our approval.

Please return the goods to the address on the top of your receipt/invoice including the Invoice Number. Any returned items not including such information will have actions delayed.

Any returned goods that we receive which are outside of this Returns Policy would be defined as 'In Dispute'. Such In Dispute items will not be refunded or exchanged. Product Images

All images that portray costumes or items are used with the permission of the Copyright holder. Party-World.co.uk make every effort to maintain clear descriptions and endeavour to use such 'up to date' images that are representative and truly reflect the item to be purchased. However Party-world.co.uk cannot be held responsible for [a] any perception you may have in product representation and [b] the manufacturer's obligation of a right to change product specification including colour or design at any time and without notice.

It is also important to note that some colours may vary slightly from what you see on screen to the product ultimately received, depending on your monitor screen resolution and colour/display settings. We are aware that our site looks different on different PC's using different browsers and having different colour and screen resolution settings.

VAT Tax Charges - General

All the prices in the store are shown inclusive and exclusive of VAT where applicable at the prevailing rates. We sell in UK Pounds Sterling (£) -

Example products where VAT is liable or exempt are:

Adult clothing: Liable.

Child Clothing: Exempt.

Accessories & Wigs Including Harry Potter™ Robes : Liable.

Postage & Shipping: Liable. HMCE dictate we have to charge VAT on Postage & Shipping in line with the VAT rate of the items being sent. Please do not confuse not having to pay VAT on postage stamps from the Post Office.

VAT is applicable to any purchase with destination address within the UK or EU and is calculated based upon the shipping address detail.

Credit Card & Personal Data Security

No credit or debit card or similar information is held by Party World.

Rest assured we never hand your details on to anyone.

General

Prior to shipping, we reserve the right to decline, reject or similarly cancel any order or part order without notice and refund any payment in full.

Many products, especially accessories can be procured from different suppliers depending on stock availability. Please note therefore that products may come in different packaging.

All prices are correct at time of publication.Party-world.co.uk reserve the right to change, alter or amend any price at any time without notice. Should a product price decrease since an original purchase, contractually we are not obligated to refund the difference. Similarly, should an increase occur prior to purchase, we are not obligated to sell at the previous lower price.

Should a product be unavailable or out of stock, we may after prior consultation ask if a replacement product with the same or higher value be acceptable. You may agree or reject this offer. If we are unable to contact you and required within 3 days, so that we do not let you down, we may make a decision to ship the replacement item to you with a written rationale on the invoice. Should this not be acceptable upon receipt, you may return the item(s) for full refund including all postage.

All goods remain the property of Party-World.co.uk until paid for in full.
